Been having this problem for a while now. And it's starting to get on my nerves.
The standard wow objective tracker is at the very most capable of showing two quests. It states at the top how many i got tracked total. But only ever shows one or two, depending on how much text it uses.
Been fiddeling about with various addons to see if that was a source of issue. So far I have found nothing.
I compared my tracker to the one on my girlfriends system. Mine is (besides only tracking two quests) larger in text size and further out into the viewing field.
Anyone got any experience with this issue?
No one has any insight, theory or otherwise, pertaining to this issue?
Medal of honor pacific assault download. If you prefer the default wow QuestLog and Tracker that's fine but it's very limited. For example, if a quest doesn't have any objectives to 'track' then it won't appear in the quest tracker and no Quest Arrow will be available for it. Additionally, quests will not automatically be tracked by the default WoW quest tracker.
Have you tried logging into another system to see if its machine based or account based?
Please delete your WTF, Cache and Interface folders do not replace any AddOns.
I am also having a similar problem with my goblin, i deleted the above but then when i logged him back in all the guest icons disappear again except 1. No matter what i try i can not get more than 1 quest icon to show up on the map now. It only seems to do this with my goblin so far. I am using Blizzard's built in tracker with no add ons, i was playing happily then all but 1 of the quests icons just vanished form the map, any advice please.
Does the above happen on all characters now or just the one?
It seems to be just the Goblin, if i open the map fully and scroll my mouse over the list of quests on the right hand side, a blue shaded shape comes up on the map where the quest is and where the quest icon should be. This blue shaded shape also shows up in the middle of the screen until the map is closed.
This problem just began yesturday, all was fine, when i first log my goblin in and open the map the guest icons are there but then they disappear straight away and i can not get them back.
Can you go into the in game menu and toggle it on then off and see if it makes a difference.
Hi,
I have been trying that but nothing works, i have also just noticed that the list of quests that shows when i open the map fully is not updating properly, it is still showing quests that i have already completed but the quest log is updating.
I have just deleted the WTF and interface folders again then run the repair file, seems to be working again ok at the moment.

I had similar problem just before 3.3 was introduced. Only 3 quests were tracked even tho i selected at least 4 (resolution was 1680x1050 if it does matter). I tried everything but nothing helped. Standard repair tool didn't help. Then i thought ok, Cata will come and I'll reinstall whole game. I did it and it was fine for a while. Then two days ago same thing happened.. dunno why tbh..
Hi
I have just handed in a quest in Zoram' gar outpost with my goblin and the problem has come back again, i checked my map for next quest location and nothing there again.
Had the same issue, turned out to be the minimap addon I am using that hides them. Went to config and bosh, all sorted - for info - Chinchilla Minimap is what I am using.
Hope this helps!

About QuestHelper
Questhelper tells you how to finish your quests in the easiest, fastest manner. It includes a database of quests, monsters, and items, telling you the exact location of that dang Perfect Satyr Horn you can’t find. It also computes the fastest path to complete all your quests – and gain experience – as quickly as possible.
Usage
For the most part, you just install it and leave it alone. It should hopefully be smart enough to do The Right Thing, and not require you to meddle with it.
The task QuestHelper thinks you should do first is displayed on your minimap, which you can mouse over for a description. If the task isn’t in your current zone, then it will point towards where QuestHelper thinks you should go to get there, such as a flight master or the zone border.
World Map
All the tasks QuestHelper wants you to do are displayed on the World Map. There are ‘marching ants’ connecting the objectives, showing you the order QuestHelper thinks you should complete them in.
You can right click on an objective to get a list of options for it.
Menus
You can right click anywhere on a menu to hide it, or select the Close Menu command from the end of the menu.
Best Quest Addon For Wow
Priorities
There are 5 different priority levels an objective can have: “Highest, High, Normal, Low,” and “Lowest”.
Most objectives default to “Normal”. Objectives for timed quests default to “High”. User created objectives default to “Highest”. QuestHelper will try to arrange the objectives so that higher priority objectives get done first.
You can use priorities as hints to get the objectives in an order you’d prefer, without the need to micro-manage the route list.
You can force QuestHelper to show an objective that otherwise would have been filtered by typing ##/qh hidden## and selecting “Show” from its entry in the menu.
