Available for download, the REPAIR Bundle from Zynaptiq packages together three pieces of corrective software useful in audio mixing and mastering applications. Included are UNFILTER, UNVEIL, and UNCHIRP. UNVEIL is designed to help you boost or attenuate reverb already imbued within a sound source. Whether removing ambiance from dialog, or sweetening the room sound around a classical recording, you’ll find UNVEIL’s Mixed-Signal Audio Processing to help you sonically differentiate the important aspects of a mix from the rest, giving you the ability to increase or damp them. UNCHIRP, on the other hand, is useful in suppressing the high-frequency artifacts (chirps) and musical-noise artifacts from audio that’s already been processed through destructive codecs. So, if your operable sound source is a less-than-optimally encoded MP3, this plug-in should help you resynthesize some of the fidelity lost in the conversion. Lastly, UNFILTER helps to ameliorate or outright remove filtering effects such as excessive EQ, problematic resonances, comb filtering, and more. UNFILTER also provides a mastering grade EQ. All the software in this bundle is compatible with Mac and Windows and can operate in AU, VST, RTAS and AAX formats.
