The Festag Update is the latest Total War: Warhammer 2 update, and it brings a whole suite of new changes and balance tweaks to the Warhammer strategy game. Like previous patches, the big focus of the Festag Update is on characters, and in particular, updating the Legendary Lords and Lords from the first game to match with those of the second title.
Creative Assembly recently published full patch notes for the latest Total War: Warhammer 2 update on the official Total War blog. Here, you can go through the fine print to see exactly what has been changed and where. However, the general focus in the Festag Update is on characters; both regular Lords and the Legendary Lords. The big change is a general rework for the red skill trees of characters from the first Total War: Warhammer; “Characters of the Old World now get red skill trees comparable to their New World counterparts in Warhammer II,” explains Creative Assembly; “plus numerous tweaks and changes to their existing skills, traits and abilities. Character mounts have also been standardised to unlock at specific ranks.”
Total War: Warhammer II is a turn-based strategy and real-time tactics video game developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega. It is part of the Total War series and the sequel to 2016's Total War: Warhammer. The game is set in Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy fictional universe.
In addition to the new character changes, the Festag Update includes a range of bug fixes.
